Next Stop ... Zambia

On Monday, November 20th I will be departing for my second mission with Medecins Sans Frontieres. I have accepted a short-term position as MSF’s Financial & HR Coordinator in Zambia and will be there until late January 2007. The timing couldn’t have been better as my parents had started to assign chores for me to do around the house.

I will be based in the capital city, Lusaka, and understand that I will spend considerable time in the Nchelenge District, in northern Zambia, where MSF is running a HIV/AIDS integrated care, treatment and prevention program.

Otherwise, I don’t know too much about where I’m going or what I’ll be doing. I can’t wait!
