Alex's "Like List"

Alex turned nine-months old yesterday and it has been interesting to observe his development, including his likes and dislikes.  The following are some of Alex's likes:

1. Mommy - Yes, I know this obvious.  Alex loves Mommy more than everything else put together.  This is what Thipp has always wanted, although she now knows that are drawbacks, such as when she wants to leave the room.
2. Doggies - In Southeast Asia most dogs look to be in pretty rough shape. Their fur is a mess and they are under-fed.  Alex loves them all and often reacts to their sighting with a happy squeal and flapping arms.
3. Beautiful young women - The fact that Alex seems to get more excited by the hotties tells me that there is something innate about what is beauty.  Alex seems to be especially interested in airline stewardesses and waitresses.  This interest is often reciprocated.  Using today as an example, while walking by a restaurant a waitress rushed over to flirt with Alex, asked to hold him and planted a few kisses on his cheek.  I've never seen anything like it; not even with my university friend Rodd McCormick during his prime.
4. Daddy - I'm writing the list so I get to be on it.
5. Children - It seems that Alex has already figured-out that other kids are the more likely source of fun than Mom & Dad.
6. All other females - Men sometimes spook Alex but he always has time for the ladies.

I think that's the entirety of the list for now.  It's not all that long, but what do you expect for nine-months?
