Southeast Asia here we come

The Return of the Blog

I'm back...or more accurately, we're back!  After three years of inactivity the Blog has returned.

In less than two-weeks Alex, Thipp and I will be leaving for a 3-month trip to Southeast Asia.  We will fly into Bangkok, Thailand and then make our way to the near-by coastal town of Pattaya.  We'll spend one week there and then likely make our way up to where Thipp's family lives in Vientiane, Laos.  After that...who knows.

I'm looking forward to the warm weather, friendly people, good food, three months off of work, and hanging-out with Thipp and Alex. On the other-hand, travelling in the developing world with a 7-month-old baby scares the poop out of me.  Fortunately, Alex and Thipp don't appear to be concerned.
